Summary

Level 3 Nursery Practitioner - From £30,000

We have an exciting opportunity for a Nursery Practitioner to join our client’s family-run children’s day nursery. It is nestled in a leafy residential area and set within a large Edwardian house with extensive gardens. The setting cares for children aged 3 months to 5 years and operates from well-equipped rooms.

requires a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification.

You must have

recent experience working as a Nursery Practitioner in a nursery – Minimum 1 Year

Applicants must be confident managing a key group independently.

Key Job Details

Salary: From £30,000 depending on experience

40 hours per week, All Year Round

Full-time, permanent contract

What You’ll Need

Full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years

Strong working knowledge of the EYFS framework

Recent

experience as a Nursery Practitioner in a nursery setting – Minimum 1 year

Experience caring for children aged 0–5 years

Clear understanding of safeguarding responsibilities

Desirable

Paediatric First Aid

Training or experience in additional early years programmes or specialty areas

What You’ll Do

Plan and deliver EYFS-led activities appropriate to your room

Act as key person, completing observations and assessments

Maintain accurate learning and development records

Follow safeguarding and health and safety procedures

Support daily routines including meals, sleep and transitions

Contribute to room planning meetings and parent communication
