Nursery Manager (Montessori)
£15.00–£16.00 per hour | Monday to Friday | 8:45am – 3:00pm | Term Time Only
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a small, family-oriented nursery that is built on authentic Montessori principles and inspired by the natural world. The service is looking for an experienced Nursery Manager who holds a recognised Montessori qualification and has a genuine passion for creating an environment where children feel safe, respected, and inspired to learn.
With a nurturing, home-from-home atmosphere, the nursery encourages children to become independent, confident, and compassionate learners. Every aspect of the environment has been thoughtfully designed to support curiosity, exploration, and hands-on learning, allowing children to develop at their own pace while building the skills they need for a successful transition into school.

Nursery Manager Requirements
Recognised
Montessori qualification is essential.
Previous experience as a
Nursery Manager is essential.
Strong understanding and practical experience of the Montessori approach.
Good knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
A passion for creating enriching learning experiences that help children thrive.

Nursery Manager Responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day management of the nursery, ensuring high-quality Montessori education and care.
Inspire, support, and develop a small, dedicated team of practitioners.
Maintain a warm, nurturing environment where every child feels valued and supported.
Ensure the nursery continues to deliver authentic Montessori practice alongside the EYFS framework.
Build strong partnerships with children, families, and the local community.
Oversee safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory compliance.
Support children's independence, confidence, empathy, and emotional wellbeing.
Manage the operational and administrative aspects of the nursery, ensuring its continued success.
