This is a fantastic opportunity for a Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a Good Ofsted-rated nursery that combines a warm, family feel with an inspiring Montessori approach. The service is looking for a caring and enthusiastic practitioner who is passionate about supporting children during the most important years of their development.
Rooted in Montessori principles, this small and thoughtfully designed nursery provides a calm, nurturing environment where children are encouraged to learn through exploration, independence, and hands-on experiences. Every aspect of the day is carefully planned to help children develop not only the skills they need for school but also the confidence, empathy, and resilience that will support them throughout life.
Nursery Practitioner Requirements
Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
Previous experience working within an early years setting.
An interest in or understanding of the Montessori approach is desirable.
Good knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach with a genuine passion for early years education.

Nursery Practitioner Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework and Montessori philosophy.
Create engaging, child-led learning experiences that encourage curiosity and independence.
Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Support children's emotional, social, physical, and cognitive development.
Observe, assess, and record children's progress to support their individual learning journeys.
Maintain a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where every child can flourish.
Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times.
