Summary

Mechanical Engineer- Just Temps is currently looking for highly experienced

Mechanical Engineer to join a well-established manufacturer based in the outskirts of

Ipswich, Suffolk on a

full-time basis!

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within a production environment. The role will initially be a

temporary position for up to 12 weeks and for the

right candidate will go permanent!

About the Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for machine setup, planned maintenance, breakdown response and electrical/mechanical fault-finding, helping to minimise downtime and maintain equipment reliability. Working hours are

39 hours per week with a starting salary of

£14.80 per hour.

Key Duties:

- Set up machinery and complete production line changeovers.

- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).

- Respond to breakdowns and minimise production downtime.

- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and electromechanical faults.

- Inspect equipment for wear, defects and potential failures.

- Follow health & safety procedures and quality standards.

Requirements:

- An Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualification -

this is essential

- Previous experience within manufacturing, production environment

- Immediately available or available to start at short notice

- Must hold a full driving licence and have access to own vehicle -
