Summary

AFTER SCHOOL CLUB PLAYWORKER Working Hours: 10 hours a week, 3-5pm Monday to Friday, 38 weeks per year (term time only) Salary: SURREY PAY 3: £25,133 fte (£5,851 actual annual salary)Start Date: ASAPAt St Ignatius Catholic Primary School, we believe that all children should be given the opportunity to excel. We run a successful After School Club attended by St Ignatius pupils and we are looking for an energetic, creative, and passionate Playworker to join our team. The RolePlan and deliver fun, varied play activities (arts & crafts, outdoor games, sports, and free play)Support children with after-school curriculum activities (eg listening to a child read, supporting homework completion)Ensure the physical and emotional safety and wellbeing of all children in our careAssist with setting up/clearing down the venue dailyBuild positive relationships with children, parents, and school staffWhat we are looking forPrevious experience in - or a desire to transition into - working with primary aged children in an educational settingAn enthusiastic, approachable and reliable personality with a strong team spiritGood communication skills paired with a patient, positive attitudeCandidates must be aged 18 or over due to safeguarding requirementsPlease refer to the job description and person specification for further informationWe are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff to share this commitment.
