Thames Ditton Junior School
7.5 hours (Breakfast Club) / 17.5 hours (After School Club) per week, term time only, 38 weeks per yearWe are looking for an enthusiastic Playworker to join our friendly team and assist in the delivery of a range of high quality recreational and educational activities for children attending our breakfast and/or after school club.
The ideal candidate will be a team player, able to build positive relationships with children and colleagues, and contribute towards providing a fun, safe environment.
Duties will include the support and supervision of children attending the provision and promoting their general care and welfare. Previous experience working with, or supporting young children between 4 – 11 years, would be advantageous although not essential as training will be provided.
We have two roles available:
Breakfast Club Playworker:We are looking for someone to work 5 sessions per week for the breakfast club—Monday-Friday from 7:20–8:50 am. The actual salary for 7.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per annum, is £4 163.
And/or
After-School Club Playworker
We are looking for someone to work Monday to Friday from 2:45–6:15 pm. The actual salary for 17.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per annum, is £9 715.
