Summary
Assign access rights within the internal network, establish firewall policies, assess security risks, plan, design, and implement VLAN network segmentation.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Review the existing network architecture and network topology, identify all network boundary devices and external services (including routers, firewalls, SFTP, etc.), and establish and maintain a complete and accurate network topology diagram and related technical documentation.
2. Audit existing firewall policies, assess security risks, and provide recommendations for optimization and hardening.
3. Plan, design, and implement VLAN network segmentation to enhance network security, performance, and manageability.
4. Review and optimize cross-site network connectivity and wireless network architecture to improve network performance, stability, and reliability.
5. Review the Active Directory environment, including GPO, LAPS, Azure AD Sync, and DNS configurations, and provide recommendations for security and operational optimization.
6. Review vulnerability scanning and penetration testing reports, propose remediation plans from a network infrastructure security perspective, and assist in implementing the related improvements.
