Summary

About Dimensions

Dimensions is one of the UK's largest not-for-profit organisations supporting people with learning disabilities and autistic people to live fulfilling, independent lives. Everything we do is driven by our values of

Ambition, Courage, Integrity, Partnership and Respect, ensuring the people we support remain at the heart of every decision we make. We believe every person should have choice and control over their own life, and our Support Workers play a vital role in making that happen every day.

As a Disability Confident Leader and sector-leading provider, we invest heavily in our colleagues through award-winning training, career development opportunities and a supportive, inclusive culture where everyone can thrive.

About the Role

-

Support Worker

-

Full time, Part time and Relief

-

Working across Norwich, Acle, Caister on Sea and Ormesby.

-

Full UK driving licence essential.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Support Worker to join our team, providing support across six supported living homes and two outreach services within the locality.

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety, adapts well to different environments, and wants to make a positive impact across multiple homes. No two days will be the same, as you'll be building relationships with a wide range of people and supporting them to live the life they choose. You'll support adults with learning disabilities, autism and a range of support needs to:

- Develop greater independence and life skills.

- Access their local communities and pursue hobbies and interests.

- Maintain relationships with family and friends.

- Manage their finances and daily routines.

- Attend appointments.

- Maintain their homes and personal spaces.

- Achieve outcomes that are important to them.

- Receive personal care and support with medication where required.

As a locality based Support Worker, you'll provide cover and consistency across a number of homes, working closely with established teams while bringing flexibility and a positive approach wherever you're needed.

This position requires flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early and late shifts, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-in shifts.

Due to the locations of some homes and the need to travel between them, a full UK driving licence is essential.

About You

We're looking for someone who shares our values and genuinely wants to make a difference to people's lives. You will be:

- A positive, reliable and adaptable team player.

- Comfortable working across multiple homes and supporting different people.

- Passionate about helping people achieve their goals and aspirations.

- Confident building relationships with colleagues, families and professionals.

- Willing to learn and embrace Dimensions' person-centred approach.

- Able to work independently and use your initiative when required.

- Comfortable using basic IT systems and completing support records.

Experience in social care is welcome but not essential. We're more interested in your values, attitude and commitment to supporting people to lead great lives. Full training will be provided.
