The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced

Middlesbrough.
Opened just one year ago, the modern practice is already exceptionally busy and continuing to expand, with a new branch also planned. The successful Veterinary Surgeon will join a close-knit, supportive team where clinical freedom, teamwork and high standards of patient care are genuinely valued.
The role would suit a
Small Animal Vet with 3+ years' UK experience who is confident with sole charge, consultations and routine surgery. A medical bias or interest in
diagnostic imaging would be welcomed, while a surgical bias would also be particularly valuable.
The Practice
The purpose-built practice has excellent facilities, including:
• Advanced ultrasound with three linear probes
• Digital X-ray
• Two fully equipped theatres
• Dedicated dental suite, with dental X-ray coming soon
• Orthopaedic equipment
• Flexiscope in development
• Separate cat and dog waiting areas
• Strong nurse-led workflow and case handovers
With
15-minute consultations and excellent nursing support, the practice prioritises quality clinical care without compromising client communication.
The Rota
The practice offers a genuinely attractive work-life balance:
• 10-hour shifts:
8:30am–6:30pm or 9:30am–7:30pm
•
No weekends or bank holidays
• 1-hour lunch breaks
• Part-time considered
• Cases requiring referral are passed to referral services
What They're Looking For
• 3+ years' UK small animal experience
• RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
• Confident with sole charge
• Comfortable with consultations and routine surgery
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Calm, collaborative approach
• Medical, imaging or surgical interests welcomed
Salary & Benefits

£50,000–£70,000 DOE
• Senior/Lead Vet opportunities up to
£75,000
• 5 weeks' annual leave including bank holidays
• Birthday off
• Generous CPD allowance
• RCVS fees paid
• Career development support
• Clinical freedom
• Uniform provided

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced
Veterinary Surgeon in Middlesbrough looking for autonomy, progression, excellent support and a genuinely positive independent practice culture.
