£42 per hour (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging Math lessons across a range of levels, including

GCSE and

Functional Skills.

Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with curriculum requirements.

Monitor student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.

Support learners with varying abilities to improve confidence and attainment.

Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and achievement.

Contribute to curriculum development and continuous quality improvement.

Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to enhance learner outcomes.

Ensure all teaching meets safeguarding, equality, and quality standards.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

Experience teaching Math within a

Further Education (FE) College or a similar setting.

Excellent subject knowledge in Mathematics.

Strong communication and classroom management skills.

A genuine passion for supporting learners to achieve their full potential.

Desirable

PGCE, Cert Ed, or an equivalent teaching qualification.

Experience delivering

GCSE and

Functional Skills Math.

Experience supporting learners with additional learning needs.
