Early Years Tutor

Morgan Hunt is delighted to be working with a leading training provider to recruit an experienced Early Years Tutor on a fixed-term basis. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality childcare qualifications, supporting learners to develop the knowledge and skills required to begin or progress their careers within the early years sector.

Location: London

Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum + Expenses

Contract: 1-Year Fixed Term (with potential to extend)

Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging face-to-face teaching across London.

Deliver Level 2 childcare programmes to unemployed learners.

Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that meet awarding body requirements.

Assess learner progress and provide regular feedback and support.

Maintain accurate learner records and ensure compliance with funding and awarding body requirements.

Deliver occasional evening and weekend sessions where required, with TOIL or reduced weekday hours provided.

Support learners to successfully achieve their qualifications.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

Occupational competency within the Early Years or Childcare sector.

Experience delivering or assessing childcare qualifications.

Excellent communication, classroom delivery, and organisational skills.

A passion for developing learners and helping individuals start careers within childcare.

The ability to travel across London for face-to-face delivery.

Programmes Delivered

Level 2 Safeguarding and PREVENT

Level 2 Introducing Caring for Children and Young People

Learners

Primarily unemployed learners.

Maximum cohort size of 20 learners.

Face-to-face classroom delivery across London.
