Summary

Join an Established Homelessness Charity - Hillingdon Outreach Service

Are you passionate about making a difference in people's lives? We are recruiting for two rewarding roles within our established homelessness charity, supporting individuals and communities across Hillingdon.

Location: Hillingdon Civic Centre, Uxbridge

Hours: 7 hours per day

Contract: Ongoing Temporary Contract

We are looking for committed and compassionate professionals to join our team:

Lead Worker

Hourly Rate: £19.36

Lead Manager

Hourly Rate: £23.57

Key Duties Include:

✅ Providing practical and emotional support to people experiencing homelessness or housing difficulties

✅ Conducting outreach visits and engaging with individuals in the community

✅ Building positive relationships with service users, partner agencies and local services

✅ Supporting individuals to access housing, benefits, healthcare and other essential services

✅ Developing and reviewing support plans to help people achieve their goals

✅ Promoting independence, wellbeing and positive life changes

✅ Maintaining accurate records and completing relevant reports

✅ Working collaboratively with colleagues and external organisations to deliver effective support

⭐ Additional Responsibilities for the Lead Manager:

✅ Overseeing and supporting a team of outreach workers, providing guidance and direction

✅ Allocating workloads and ensuring the effective delivery of the service

✅ Supporting staff development through supervision, coaching and feedback

✅ Monitoring performance, quality standards and outcomes

✅ Acting as a key point of contact for partner agencies and stakeholders

Car driver preferred
