We are seeking a Logistics Support Manager to manage the service to meet and exceed targets across all performance areas and to take responsibility for the day-to-day liaison of the service with the Client.
Job Description
We are looking for a professional and organised individual who can provide effective leadership, maintain high service standards, and build strong relationships with stakeholders while ensuring compliance with company and Trust policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direction, guidance and support to all staff to ensure they can carry out their roles effectively.
Maintain accurate records and complete relevant documentation relating to sickness, quality monitoring, training and staff performance.
Monitor attendance, manage sickness and absenteeism, and ensure HR processes are followed.
Build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, patients, visitors and Trust staff.
Plan, allocate and evaluate workloads, manage annual leave requests, and ensure required target hours are achieved.
Manage service objectives, targets, budgets and forecasts, while supporting performance monitoring and reporting requirements.
Support payroll processes by ensuring agreed onsite procedures are followed and maintain smooth operational delivery.
Recruit, induct, train and manage staff, ensuring compliance with company policies, health and safety requirements, and service standards.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Previous experience in a management or supervisory role, with the ability to lead, motivate and support a team.
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with colleagues, patients, visitors and stakeholders at all levels.
Good IT skills and confidence using systems to support operational management, reporting and administration.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build positive and professional working relationships.
Ability to react quickly to challenging situations, use initiative and remain calm under pressure.
