Assistant Psychologist - Community Mental Health Team (CMHT)
Band 5 - Full time - Permanent
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Psychologist to join the South Warwickshire CMHT. The CMHT is a multi-disciplinary team that provides interventions to people with a range of mental health difficulties.
We are looking to recruit a psychology graduate who has relevant clinical experience and is interested and passionate about working with people who experience complex mental health needs.
The post holder will be part of a well-established psychological therapies team and will be offered ample opportunities for 1:1 client work, group work, working with the MDT, managing service databases, audits and service evaluations.
Please note that the expectation is that the post holder will be based in the team, although consideration will be offered to ad-hoc remote working, depending on duties.
Please note that this post covers both the Leamington and Stratford localities.
The post holder will support and enhance the professional psychological care of clients within the service, such as supporting psychological assessments and providing low intensity psychological interventions (group and individual) under the supervision of an HCPC Practitioner Psychologist.
The post holder will also assist in clinically related administration, collecting data, managing service databases, conducting service audits and evaluations to determine effectiveness of interventions, as well as identifying areas of service development, and the dissemination of research outputs.
The successful applicant will be line managed and overall accountable to the Principal Clinical Psychologist in the team.

You are required to hold a Psychology Degree giving GBR status with the British Psychological Society, Grade 2:1 or above.
