Summary

The Home Office works to build a safe, fair and prosperous UK. We achieve this through our work on counter-terrorism, policing, crime, drugs policy, immigration and passports.

The Corporate Services Group works closely with the Home Office’s policy and operational commands to enable us together to deliver the department’s priorities. The group is comprised of different teams and professional functions, including Commercial, Communications, Finance, People, Portfolio and Project Delivery, Private Office, Security, Estates and Information.

As a member of the Communications Directorate, you will be supporting our mission to deliver outstanding public services that work for everyone.

You will join a multi-disciplinary team with colleagues based across the UK, working together to deliver the Home Office’s communications strategy.

We believe a positive, open and supportive culture is essential to help everyone deliver their best work. We value diversity and provide an inclusive and encouraging environment for our team members. We nurture our talent and offer a broad range of learning and development opportunities to help you fulfil your potential.

Launched in February 2024, Stop! Think Fraud is an innovative behaviour change campaign which has made a positive impact in the fight against fraud, by helping the public and small businesses to both identify potential fraudulent approaches and take action to protect themselves.

Partners are critical to the success of the campaign - ensuring people see our messages through multiple channels and credible voices they trust. Working with organisations we can ensure we use every opportunity to engage and influence our audiences.

As a Senior Partnerships Manager you will be responsible for developing, managing, and growing strategic partnerships with private, public and third sector partners to support the Stop! Think Fraud campaign objectives.

Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Refining and developing the campaign partnership strategy with the aim of increasing the sustainability, value and breadth of partnerships secured.
  • Employing creative and effective relationship building and networking skills to enthuse and inspire partners to work with us. Nurturing a portfolio of existing partners, ensuring high levels of engagement and satisfaction, and identifying new partnership opportunities aligned with campaign priorities.
  • Leading collaboration discussions and the design of partnership activity, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes and risk mitigation.
  • Leading the development, delivery and evaluation of impactful campaigns with partners, collaborating with external and internal teams including insight, media, digital, marketing, external affairs and policy.
  • Providing regular updates on the performance of partnership activity to Senior Civil Servants, Special Advisors and Ministers.
  • Keeping up to date with best practice in partnership management and developing a network of peers across government to share best practice and learnings with.
  • Supporting wider campaign activity as needed.

Working patterns

Due to the business requirements of this role, it is only available on a full-time basis.

Please also note that whilst the appointment is permanent, the position is expected to conclude after two years. Should the role cease to exist or organisational requirements change, you may be placed into the redeployment process in accordance with Home Office policy. In such circumstances, we will make every effort to identify a suitable alternative position; however, if no suitable role is available, the Restructuring, Redeployment and Redundancy (RRR) policy will apply.
