Summary

Our client, a reputable family-owned service centre located in Poole, Dorset, is seeking an experienced Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshop. This is a premier opportunity for a skilled professional who excels in vehicle diagnostics and heavy mechanics.

- Monday to Friday working hours, 8.30 am to 5.00 pm

Duties of a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:

- Conduct comprehensive vehicle diagnostic assessments and identify faults accurately

- Perform complex engine dismantling, rebuilds, and heavy mechanical repairs

- Carry out gearbox, engine work, and engine assessments for diagnostic purposes

- Utilise modern diagnostic tools and equipment effectively

- Assist in ongoing technical development within the workshop

- Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction

Requirements of a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:

- Proven experience as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician or in a similar role

- Strong skills in engine dismantling and diagnostic procedures

- Experience with engine repairs and other heavy mechanics

- Ability to work independently and within a team

- Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to quality work

- Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance NVQ or equivalent qualification
