Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Education Support Assistant LBS-006 to join our team within the social care sector as a non-qualified professional. This role is integral to supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in an educational setting, ensuring they receive the tailored assistance they require to thrive both academically and socially. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, other support staff, and families to provide one-on-one or group support, assisting with learning activities, behavior management, and the development of life skills. Responsibilities

Provide direct support to SEND students in classroom and group settings to facilitate learning and social development.

Assist teachers in preparing and implementing educational and care plans tailored to individual student needs.

Support the development of communication, social, and life skills among SEND pupils through structured activities.

Monitor and report on student progress and behavior, communicating effectively with teaching staff and families.

Implement behavior management strategies in line with school policies to promote positive conduct.

Aid in the physical care and well-being of students where necessary, ensuring their safety at all times.

Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and contribute to creating an inclusive educational environment.

Hours Per Week: 36

Start Time: 09:00

End Time: 17.00

Pay Per Hour: £17.53
