Summary

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading accident repair specialist in Liverpool, for the position of MET Technician. This is an outstanding opportunity for a skilled motor trade professional to join a reputable company that is at the forefront of vehicle repair technology.

Duties of a MET Technician:

- Dismantle and reassemble mechanical, electrical, and trim vehicle components with high precision

- Perform four-wheel alignment checks following manufacturer guidelines

- Protect vehicles throughout all stages of the repair process

- Collaborate effectively with technicians, vehicle damage assessors, and production teams

- Work with electric vehicles and emerging vehicle technology systems

- Adhere strictly to health and safety standards, including COSHH regulations

- Ensure all repairs meet quality standards and customer expectations

Requirements of a MET Technician:

- IMI/ATA MET Technician qualification or equivalent experience in a bodyshop environment

- Proven track record in accident repair and vehicle rebuilds

- Full UK driving licence is essential

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Strong commitment to high-quality workmanship

- Knowledge or experience working with electric vehicles is highly desirable
