Summary

We are recruiting for a MET Technician on behalf of our client, a leading accident repair specialist near Wigan. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced MET Technicians seeking a reputable employer committed to high standards and career development.

Duties:

- Dismantling, repairing, and reassembling mechanical, electrical, and trim components to high standards

- Conducting four-wheel alignment checks and adjustments in accordance with manufacturer specifications

- Ensuring vehicle protection throughout repairs and adherence to health and safety standards

- Working collaboratively with team members to maintain workflow efficiency

- Applying knowledge of electric vehicle systems and emerging automotive technologies

- Maintaining accurate documentation of repair work

Requirements:

- IMI or ATA Accredited MET Technician qualification or equivalent experience in a bodyshop environment

- Proven experience in accident repair and vehicle refurbishment

- Full UK driving licence is essential

- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting

- Excellent communication skills and team working abilities

- Knowledge of electric vehicle systems is advantageous
