Summary

Our client, a reputable three-site automotive repair business based in Cardiff, is expanding and seeking a skilled Vehicle Service Advisor to join their team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals to progress their career within a dynamic and growing organisation.

Duties of a Service Advisor:

- Manage workload and customer deadlines efficiently in a busy service department

- Liaise closely with the workshop team to chase work in progress

- Keep customers informed throughout the service and repair process

- Upsell additional products and services to maximise workshop efficiency

- Deliver high levels of customer service to ensure complete customer satisfaction

- Allocate tasks effectively among team members and prioritize customer needs

- Maintain accurate documentation and utilise IT systems (experience with Kerridge preferable but not essential)

- Build strong, lasting relationships with customers and colleagues

Requirements of a Service Advisor:

- Proven experience as a Vehicle Service Advisor or similar role within the automotive industry

- Exceptional communication and customer service skills

- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail

- IT literacy, with familiarity with dealership management systems (Kerridge experience preferred but not mandatory)

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Professional attitude with a commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience
