Part time roles available

Flexible sessional work – Saturdays & Sundays, 8.30am – 4.30pm (More hours available during school holiday period)

The Role

Are you passionate about supporting children and young people to thrive, grow, and enjoy life to the fullest?

This is an exciting, hands-on role where you’ll support children to build confidence, develop social skills, discover new interests, and most importantly have fun! Whether you’re leading creative play sessions, joining in group activities, or offering one-to-one support, you’ll be helping children feel valued, understood, and included.

Responsibilities include:

Supporting children and young people to take part in play, leisure, and social activities from arts and crafts to outdoor adventures.

Encouraging independence and helping develop communication, social, and life skills in a safe, nurturing environment.

Building strong, supportive relationships with children, their families, carers, and professionals.

Setting up and maintaining a fun, safe, and welcoming playscheme space including preparing snacks, assisting with meals, and helping with personal care when needed.

Working together to create a positive and memorable Playscheme for everyone.

Assisting with outings on the minibus.

Keeping accurate records of support and reflecting this in our practice to help us to continue improving the Playscheme.
