Job Summary

Grace to Grace International Centre (GGIC) is seeking to appoint a committed, spiritually mature and experienced Minister of Religion to provide spiritual, pastoral and mission leadership within the church and the wider community.

The successful applicant will lead and support worship, preaching, Bible teaching, prayer, discipleship, pastoral care, evangelism and community outreach. The postholder will work under the direction of church leadership and will play an important role in strengthening families, developing believers, reaching new people and advancing the mission of Grace to Grace International Centre.

This is a permanent ministerial position for a person who is able to represent and uphold the Christian faith, doctrine, values and mission of Grace to Grace International Centre.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Lead and support worship services, prayer meetings, Bible studies and other church programmes.

Preach, teach and communicate biblical principles in a clear and spiritually sensitive manner.

Provide pastoral care, encouragement, prayer support and spiritual guidance to church members and visitors.

Support discipleship, mentoring and the spiritual development of new and existing believers.

Assist with evangelism, outreach programmes and engagement with the local community.

Support family, youth and community-focused ministry activities.

Conduct or assist with church services, including communion, prayer gatherings, teaching sessions and special events.

Work with church leadership, ministry teams and volunteers to plan and deliver church programmes.

Support the charity’s community initiatives, including foodbank outreach and support for vulnerable individuals and families.

Maintain confidentiality, safeguard children and vulnerable adults, and comply with all church policies.

Carry out other reasonable ministerial duties as directed by church leadership.

Essential Skills, Experience and Qualifications

Proven experience serving in a Christian ministry or church leadership environment.

Sound understanding of Christian doctrine, biblical teaching and pastoral care.

Ability to preach, teach, lead prayer and support worship services.

Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.

Ability to provide compassionate pastoral support to individuals, families and vulnerable people.

Experience in evangelism, discipleship, mentoring and community outreach.

Ability to work effectively under church leadership and as part of a wider ministry team.

Good organisational, administrative and record-keeping skills.

Understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality, equality, diversity and health and safety.

A mature Christian character, good conduct and commitment to the values and mission of Grace to Grace International Centre.
