Summary

Are you a parent who doesn't speak Welsh? Would you like to help shape the future of Welsh-medium services for children and families?

Mudiad Meithrin is looking for parents from a wide range of backgrounds to join our National Parents Forum. This is a unique opportunity to ensure that the voices of parents from all communities are heard, valued, and help influence our work.

What’s involved?

- Being appointed to our national Parent Forum as one of twelve people attending three 2–3-hour virtual meetings per year (for a term of 3 years)

- Helping Mudiad Meithrin to reach parents from all communities and backgrounds

- Enabling Mudiad Meithrin to question its own biases and assumptions (given that all members of staff are Welsh speakers in line with policy)

- Doing a little preparatory work (for example, if discussing the website, spending a little time examining different sections of it)

- Complete a few tasks following meetings to support the work of the Mudiad e.g. helping to share our core messages.
