Summary

We are working on behalf of our client to recruit a Service Advisor for their main dealer premises in Maidstone, Kent. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled automotive professional to progress their career within a reputable dealership. - Basic salary of approximately £33,508, with an OTE of up to £36,000

- Regular working hours from Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 18:00

- One in three Saturdays, 08:00 – 13:00, on a rota

Duties of the Service Advisor:

- Welcome customers to the dealership in a professional, friendly manner

- Manage service bookings efficiently and liaise with technicians regarding vehicle servicing and repairs

- Provide customers with timely updates on vehicle progress and costs

- Prepare accurate invoices and complete all necessary documentation

- Handle customer queries and concerns promptly, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction

- Assist with administrative duties related to service advising

- Ensure compliance with dealership policies and quality standards

Requirements of the Service Advisor:

- Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing automotive role

- Excellent communication and organisational skills

- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment

- Strong attention to detail, especially when preparing invoices and documentation

- Proficiency with computer systems and service management software

- A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential

- Customer-focused, professional attitude with a high standard of customer service
