We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established 4-star countryside hotel in the Wigan area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional, friendly kitchen.

The hotel caters for corporate dining, conferences, weddings, private events and daily restaurant service. The kitchen uses a sensible mix of fresh preparation and quality pre-prepared ingredients, allowing the team to deliver consistently without unnecessary pressure.

What You'll Be Doing

Supporting the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen

Preparing and serving high-quality dishes for restaurant and event service

Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen standards

Running your own section confidently during quieter services

Assisting with stock control, ordering and kitchen organisation

Working closely with a reliable, supportive kitchen team

What We're Looking For

Experience as a Sous Chef, or a strong Chef de Partie ready to step up

Background in hotels, banqueting or fresh food kitchens

A calm, organised approach during busy services

Team player with a positive attitude

Pride in producing consistent, high-quality food
