Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

• A practising Catholic with a clear commitment to the Catholic ethos, mission and values of the school.

• An inspirational and ambitious leader with a proven track record of securing whole-school improvement and raising standards.

• Significant leadership experience within a primary school setting, including responsibility for teaching, learning and pupil outcomes.

• A strong understanding of Catholic School Inspection (CSI) and Ofsted frameworks, with the ability to lead improvement through effective self-evaluation and strategic planning.

• A commitment to ensuring every child achieves their full potential through high-quality education and inclusive practice.

• Experience of developing and leading high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and professional growth.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, parents, staff, governors, parish communities and external partners.

• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, ensuring the highest standards of professional conduct at all times.
