Summary

To supervise and monitor the clinical work of the team and to have a clinical remit as prescribed. This role requires an individual with a relevant clinical qualification and experience in the leadership of people and services. The Team Manager is pivotal in leading and co-ordinating a high quality, safe and effective and efficient service to meet the needs of the community Forensic IDD Service users, their carers and families. This role requires the maintenance of direct clinical contact and the supervision and management of health staff. The individual will need to be highly motivated, have positive effective interpersonal and change management skills to further develop services within a partnership culture Please see the Job Description and Person Specification for full details. A full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use is required for this post; however reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010. Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment. You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £16 per year applies.
