Summary
To receive goods into the Therapy Department and organise incoming orthotic stock / walking aids and
other therapy equipment for distribution to patients and clinics. To maintain appropriate levels of stock items within the Therapy Department as directed. To partake in administrative duties such filing, notes retrieval and data inputting. To assist in providing cover for other members of the orthotic admin team when required.
• Follow safe manual handling procedures.
• Support therapy stock control and liaise with the therapy team regarding stock issues.
• Undertake administrative duties, including notes retrieval, filing, and monitoring deliveries and outstanding orders.
• Maintain stock and storage areas in line with health and safety requirements.
• Receive, check, allocate, and order stock as required.
• Arrange returns, record transactions, and report any quality issues.
• Support stocktakes and future Therapy service developments.
• Participate in supervision, appraisal, and ongoing professional development in line with Trust guidelines.
