Summary
Humanities Teacher – Day-to-day supply from as soon as possible
These flexible opportunities are ideal for Humanities Teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different secondary school settings in Thetford and the surrounding areas.Duties as Humanities Teacher:
- Deliver engaging lessons across subjects such as History, Geography, and RE
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of different year groups and abilities
- Follow school planning or create short-term lesson plans where needed
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Mark work and provide feedback when required
- Liaise with school staff to ensure smooth handovers
Ideal Humanities Teacher:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Confident teaching Humanities subjects across KS3 and KS4
- Strong classroom management and adaptability
- Reliable, flexible, and professional as a Humanities Teacher
- Able to quickly build rapport with pupils and staff
- Experience in secondary settings preferred but not essential
