Summary

Humanities Teacher – Day-to-day supply from as soon as possible

These flexible opportunities are ideal for Humanities Teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different secondary school settings in Thetford and the surrounding areas.

Duties as Humanities Teacher:

Deliver engaging lessons across subjects such as History, Geography, and RE
Adapt teaching to meet the needs of different year groups and abilities
Follow school planning or create short-term lesson plans where needed
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
Mark work and provide feedback when required
Liaise with school staff to ensure smooth handovers

Ideal Humanities Teacher:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Confident teaching Humanities subjects across KS3 and KS4
Strong classroom management and adaptability
Reliable, flexible, and professional as a Humanities Teacher
Able to quickly build rapport with pupils and staff
Experience in secondary settings preferred but not essential
