Summary

KS1 Teacher – Flexible, ongoing roles starting as soon as possible

These flexible opportunities are ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings. You’ll be working with a range of primary schools in and around Thetford, supporting pupils in Key Stage 1.

Duties as KS1 Teacher:

Deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons across the KS1 curriculum
Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and school policies
Support pupils’ learning, development, and well-being
Manage behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning atmosphere
Liaise with school staff to ensure continuity and consistency
Provide feedback on pupil engagement and lesson outcomes

Ideal KS1 Teacher:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
Experience teaching in Key Stage 1
Flexibility and confidence to work in different schools and year groups
Strong classroom management and communication skills as a KS1 Teacher
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Ability to build rapport quickly with pupils and staff
