Summary

Are you passionate about supporting young people with additional needs? Do you have the patience, empathy, and enthusiasm to help students reach their full potential?

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Learning Support Practitioner to join our welcoming SEN college on a full-time supply basis. Our college provides specialist education for young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), helping students develop the skills, confidence, and independence they need for adulthood.

The Role

As a Learning Support Practitioner, you will work closely with teaching staff to support students both in the classroom and during practical activities. You will play a key role in creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where every student can thrive.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting students with ASD throughout the school day.

Assisting with learning activities and promoting independence.

Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.

Building positive relationships with students, staff, and families.

Helping to create a calm, structured, and supportive environment.

Supporting students with communication, social interaction, and life skills where required.
