As a Patient Catering and Domestic Services Host with ISS UK, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality catering and domestic services to patients, Trust staff, and visitors.
This rewarding, patient-focused role is ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering exceptional service, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and contributing to a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment within the hospital.
As an ambassador for both ISS UK and our clients, you will be responsible for creating a positive experience for everyone you encounter while ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with food hygiene regulations, Trust policies, and ward requirements.
The Role
Deliver a high-quality patient catering and domestic service to patients, Trust staff, and visitors.
Create a welcoming and supportive environment by consistently delivering excellent customer service.
Take meal orders from patients and serve meals and beverages in accordance with individual requirements and food hygiene regulations.
Carry out basic food preparation tasks while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness.
Attend ward-based community meetings and actively engage in discussions relating to catering services and patient experience.
Undertake cleaning duties to ensure that patient areas and associated hospital environments remain clean, safe, and hygienic.
Develop positive relationships with patients, visitors, and colleagues, fostering a compassionate and professional atmosphere.
Promote a culture of care, dignity, and respect in every interaction.
About You
Excellent customer service skills, with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional experiences.
A friendly, approachable, and professional manner, with the ability to engage confidently with a wide range of people.
Strong teamwork skills, complemented by the ability to work independently when required.
A considerate and proactive attitude, with a willingness to support colleagues and contribute to a positive work environment.
Competent in using relevant systems and software, including Microsoft Office applications.
