We are proud to be working in partnership with an exceptional independent specialist school in Kingston upon Thames to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a full-time, long-term position starting this September.

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with teachers and specialist staff to support pupils both inside and outside the classroom. You'll help deliver engaging learning activities, encourage positive behaviour, and build the confidence, resilience, and independence of every learner.

Unlike many SEMH settings, this role does not routinely involve managing physically challenging behaviour. Instead, you'll support pupils who benefit from structure, consistency, and positive relationships, allowing you to focus on helping them engage with learning and achieve their potential.

No two days are the same, and every achievement-no matter how small-can have a lasting impact.

Located in the leafy borough of Kingston upon Thames, the school combines a calm and welcoming environment with excellent transport links, making it easily accessible from across London and the surrounding areas.

We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, patient, and passionate about supporting young people.

- Experience working with children or young people in education, youth work, coaching, care, or a similar setting

- A calm, positive, and nurturing approach

- The ability to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils

- Resilience, adaptability, and a willingness to learn

- A genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs

- A collaborative mindset and a desire to contribute to a supportive school community
