Summary

Are you a passionate, skilled educator with a love for working with diverse learners? Our client, a leading provider of specialist educational support in Norwich, Norfolk, is seeking an exceptional Part-time SEND 1:1 Tutor to join their dynamic team.

In this rewarding role, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Whether you're an experienced SEND tutor or a dedicated educator looking to expand your horizons, our client welcomes your application.

As a Part-time SEND 1:1 Tutor, you'll have the flexibility to work with students in both online and in-person settings, tailoring your approach to their unique needs and preferences. For KS1 - KS4 Material, you'll receive a competitive salary of £31 per hour for online sessions and £36 per hour for in-person sessions. For KS5 Material or above, the rate increases to £40 per hour for online and £45 per hour for in-person sessions. Additionally, our client offers support for travel to in-person tuition, reimbursing you at a rate of £0.45 per mile.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

- Providing individualised, one-on-one support to students with a wide range of SEND, such as autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and more

- Collaborating with parents, teachers, and other professionals to develop and implement personalised learning plans

- Utilising a diverse range of teaching methods, resources, and technologies to engage and inspire your students

- Monitoring student progress, providing regular feedback, and adjusting your approach as needed

- Maintaining detailed records and submitting timely reports to ensure the highest standards of care and educational support

To excel in this role, you'll need:

- A passion for working with children and young people with SEND

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues

- A deep understanding of SEND-specific teaching strategies and a commitment to ongoing professional development

- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of your students

- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your time effectively

- A relevant teaching qualification, such as a PGCE or QTS, or a minimum of 2 years' experience as a SEND tutor
