Summary

Vehicle Technician

Location – Croydon

Salary – £40,000 Basic + Bonus

Working Hours – Monday to Friday, with Saturdays on a rota basis. When you work a Saturday, you'll receive a day off during the week.

We have an new opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a long-established independent garage in the Croydon area. Vehicle Technician Role

- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicle makes and models.

- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment.

- Complete vehicle inspections and identify additional repair requirements.

- Carry out MOT preparation and repair work.

- Complete job cards accurately and maintain detailed workshop records.

- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.

- Work collaboratively within a busy workshop while maintaining excellent productivity and quality standards.

Vehicle Technician Requirements

- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic is essential.

- Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent) is preferred; however, experienced technicians without formal qualifications are encouraged to apply.

- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.

- MOT Tester Licence is advantageous but not essential, with full training available for the right candidate.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Full UK Driving Licence.

- Positive attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
