Summary

Cardiff and Vale College is seeking to appoint two Plumbing and Heating Assessors to join our Work-Based Learning team.

These roles will support apprentices throughout their learning journey, helping them develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours required to achieve their qualifications and progress within the Plumbing and Heating industry. Working closely with employers and learners, you will deliver high-quality assessment, monitor learner progress and support excellent achievement and completion rates.

What You'll Do

You will manage a caseload of apprentices, carrying out workplace assessments, progress reviews and learning support activities to ensure learners remain on track and achieve their full potential.

You will build and maintain strong relationships with employers, provide guidance and feedback to learners, maintain accurate records and documentation, and ensure all assessment activity meets awarding body, contractual and quality assurance requirements. You will also actively promote the development of learners' literacy, numeracy and digital skills while supporting a positive and professional learning experience.
