The Highview Building Group is a well-established building maintenance and refurbishment contractor based in Wallsend and predominantly operates within the North East of England. We have a firm client base and provide our services across multiple sectors.
We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. You will be responsible for carrying out painting and decorating works within domestic and commercial properties, ensuring all projects are completed to an exceptional standard and within agreed timescales.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare surfaces for decoration, including sanding, filling, repairing defects, and applying primers and undercoats as required.
• Carry out internal painting works to walls, ceilings, woodwork, doors, skirting boards, and other surfaces.
• Apply a variety of finishes including emulsion, gloss, satinwood, masonry paint, and specialist coatings.
• Hang wallpaper and carry out decorative finishing works where required.
• Ensure all work areas are kept clean, safe, and tidy throughout projects.
• Complete all work to a high standard, meeting client expectations and complying with UK health and safety regulations.
• Liaise professionally with tenants, clients, and colleagues to ensure excellent customer service is maintained at all times.
