Summary

Key Responsibilities of the Business Intelligence Lead:- Coordinate the delivery of business intelligence, analytics, reporting, dashboard, and data warehouse solutions to support operational, contractual, and strategic decision-making across Navigo. Oversee the production of performance reports, statutory returns, dashboards, and analytical outputs, ensuring information is accurate, meaningful, timely, and accessible to a wide range of stakeholders. Support the day-to-day coordination and prioritisation of analytics and data warehouse functions, ensuring work is aligned to organisational priorities and delivered within agreed timescales. Work collaboratively with the Data Warehouse team and wider digital colleagues to translate reporting and analytical requirements into sustainable reporting and data warehouse solutions. Analyse and interpret complex datasets to identify trends, variation, risks, pressures, and opportunities, providing evidence-based recommendations to support service improvement and organisational priorities. Support the development and continuous improvement of dashboards and visual reporting, promoting best practice in data visualisation and user experience. Maintain high standards of data quality and support data quality improvement initiatives, ensuring reporting complies with national standards and statutory requirements. Build effective working relationships with clinical, operational, and corporate teams to understand evolving reporting requirements and support projects, quality improvement initiatives, and business cases. Provide supervision, mentoring, training, recruitment support, and professional development reviews across analytics and data warehouse functions, supporting the development of technical and analytical capability within the team. Promote continuous improvement, collaborative working, and the appropriate use of emerging technologies to enhance reporting, analytics, and business intelligence capabilities across the organisation..
