Summary

Guest Walker is a well-established solicitors’ firm based in the heart of York.

We are looking for a full time Legal Assistant to join our busy Commercial Property team.

The team is in a period of development as we adopt new technologies. Whilst it may start as a more traditional role including audio-typing and task dictation, a key aim of the role is to help the team transition into a new digital future and shape change across the department.

The post is office based and full time.

You will:

Have a genuine interest in working in Commercial Property, including new developments;

Be able to engage with and demonstrate great communication skills with clients and colleagues at all levels;

Be able to identify priorities within a complex and demanding workload and sustain consistent quality performance when under pressure;

Apply problem-solving skills to situations which will arise in the course of the role;

Be friendly, approachable and willing to help share development with and of colleagues;
