Summary

Key responsibilities Lead the day-to-day operational management of designated services. Deliver quality, performance, workforce and financial objectives. Develop and implement service improvement and transformation programmes. Support delivery of business planning, workforce planning and financial recovery initiatives. Manage income and expenditure budgets, ensuring effective financial stewardship. Monitor performance against key operational and clinical targets and take action to address variances. Lead the development of business cases and service development proposals. Ensure robust governance, risk management and compliance arrangements are in place. Build effective partnerships with clinical teams, corporate services, commissioners and external stakeholders. Support delivery of cost improvement programmes and productivity initiatives. Provide regular assurance and performance reporting to divisional leadership teams.
