Are you looking for a rewarding healthcare role with full training, variety, and the opportunity to travel? We're looking for an Occupational Health Technician to join a growing mobile team, delivering health surveillance services to clients across the UK.
Whether you have experience as a Healthcare Support Worker, Emergency Care Assistant, Ambulance Technician, Army Medic, or you're a sports Science graduate with experience taking baseline measurements, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
• Travel to client sites in a Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) delivering health surveillance services.
• Carry out health screening including Audiometry, spirometry, blood pressure, height, weight and urinalysis
• Record accurate medical information and support Occupational Health Nurses and Physicians.
• Maintain clinical equipment and ensure high standards of cleanliness.
• Promote health and wellbeing in the workplace.
About you
• Experience in a healthcare, emergency services or clinical support environment.
• Confident taking baseline observations and following clinical procedures.
• Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills.
• Good understanding of GDPR and confidentiality.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Essential Requirements
• Full UK manual driving licence held for at least 12 months.
• Aged 21 or over (vehicle insurance requirement).
• Comfortable travelling extensively across the UK with regular overnight stays.
• Ability to park a Mobile Medical Unit at or near your home.
You'll receive a comprehensive 3-week induction and training programme, followed by ongoing mentoring and support to help you develop your skills and confidence.
This is a mobile role covering the Southwest with occasional nationwide travel. You can expect to be away from home for approximately 3 weeks out of every 4, returning home each Friday for the weekend.
