Long Term Futures is recruiting reliable and hardworking School Cleaners to join a welcoming school in Edgbaston. We have a number of long-term opportunities available, offering consistent hours within a friendly and supportive school environment.

We are looking for individuals who take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and can help ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.

All positions are Monday to Friday:

- 1 x 5:00pm - 8:00pm (15 hours per week - All Year Round)

- 2 x 5:00am - 8:00am (15 hours per week - All Year Round)

- 1 x 4:45pm - 8:45pm (20 hours per week - Term Time Only)

Whether you're looking for an early morning or evening role, we have opportunities to suit your availability.

Working as part of the school's site team, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

- Cleaning classrooms, offices, corridors, toilets, and communal areas

- Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and dusting designated areas

- Emptying bins and replenishing consumables where required

- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the school

- Following health and safety procedures and COSHH guidelines

- Reporting any maintenance or health and safety concerns to the Site Manager

- Ensuring all cleaning duties are completed efficiently and to a high standard

- Previous cleaning experience within a school, commercial, or similar environment is desirable

- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

- High attention to detail with a strong work ethic

- Friendly, professional, and able to work as part of a team

- Must hold an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for a new Enhanced Child Workforce DBS

- Able to commit to one of the available shift patterns on a long-term basis
