We are looking for an experienced Healthcare Assistant to join our dedicated team, supporting our service user in her home. She requires assistance with all aspects of daily living, and her care team plays an important role in ensuring she remains comfortable, appropriately positioned, and supported to engage in her day-to-day activities. At all times, care should be delivered in a way that promotes her dignity, wellbeing, and quality of life.

She enjoys watching television, listening to music and stories, and spending time with her sensory lights and toys. Our service user also accesses local community day care twice a week, alongside her carers. As she lives at home with her family, we are looking for someone who is a positive communicator, able to build trusting relationships, adapt to family life, and work collaboratively as part of a supportive care team. A caring, person-centred approach and a genuine passion for making a difference are essential for this role.

Please note: Due to the nature of this role, which involves providing intimate personal care to female service users, being female is an occupational requirement for this position under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.

Market leading pay:

£14.00/h flat rate

£26.00/h Bank Holiday

As a healthcare assistant in this package of care you will:

-Support your service user with their physical care needs, including personal care, mobility, nutrition, and comfort.

-Deliver person-centered care according to bespoke care plans.

-Promote independence and respect each service users spiritual, psychological, and cultural needs.

-Maintain accurate care records.

-Assist with communication between patients, their families, and healthcare professionals.

-Administer prescribed medication or clinical tasks after completing our advanced training and competency sign off.

-Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to the Regional Nurse Manager.

-Contribute to a supportive, high-standard care environment.

The successful applicant in this role will be:

-Experience is not essential for this position.
