Summary

Support Worker

Location: Ystrad Mynach

Pay Rate: £14.50–£15.25 per hour

Are you a compassionate, reliable Support Worker looking for flexible agency work with a trusted care and support provider? We’re recruiting experienced Support Workers to join our team, supporting adults with a variety of care needs in Ystrad Mynach. The ideal candidate will hold a valid All Wales Manual Handling Passport.

Key Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care and household tasks, using a person-centred approach to ensure their needs are met

Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, helping to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation

Help clients maintain their independence and well-being by supporting them in community activities and appointments

Safely assist clients with mobility using Moving & Handling techniques, ensuring their safety and dignity at all times

Support individuals who may display challenging behaviour, responding calmly and effectively to ensure a safe and positive environment

Support clients in achieving their goals and aspirations, promoting a sense of purpose and fulfilment

What We’re Looking For

All Wales Manual Handling Passport – Essential

Minimum 6 months UK-based care/support experience

A caring, patient and professional attitude

Reliability and excellent communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Flexibility to work various shifts
