Looking for flexible work that makes a real difference? Join our Bank team as aSecurity Operations Officerand help maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, staff and visitors across West London NHS Trust sites.

In this varied role, you will carry out security patrols, respond to incidents and alarms, support emergency situations, monitor site safety, and provide a professional security presence across Trust premises. You may also assist with reception cover, post services and general facilities support when required.

o  Provide a first-line response for any building-related issues affecting daily operations.

o  Undertake and document security patrols of sites, grounds, and buildings according to the scheduled day and night routine.

o  Conduct thorough site searches in and around buildings and garden areas.

o  Escort staff, visitors, or contractors between buildings and sites upon request.

o  Maintain clear electronic security logs in strict accordance with security protocols.

o  Respond promptly and appropriately to security incidents, participating in physical intervention activities when required or directed.

o  Participate in formal face-to-face handovers at the start and end of each shift.

o  Maintain hospital site safety by executing locking and unlocking procedures via security control systems, including patrols and locking duties at Armstrong Way.

o  Undertake rotational shift patterns covering 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, adjusting shift patterns flexibly as service needs dictate.

o  Present a professional appearance, remain polite to staff, visitors, and members of the public at all times, and wear designated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
