Hays Education is working with a number of primary schools across Tunbridge Wells that are looking to recruit enthusiastic and dedicated Year 5 Teachers to join their teams.Whether you're an experienced Key Stage 2 teacher or an Early Career Teacher looking to further develop your Upper KS2 experience, we have a variety of opportunities available across welcoming and supportive school settings.

The Role

As a Year 5 Teacher, you'll play an important role in preparing pupils for the challenges and opportunities of their final years in primary education. You'll support children as they develop greater independence, confidence and resilience, while helping them build the knowledge and skills required for success in Year 6 and beyond.You'll create engaging learning experiences, deliver high-quality lessons across the curriculum and foster a classroom environment where pupils feel motivated to challenge themselves and achieve their best.Opportunities are available on both a long-term and flexible supply basis.

We're Looking for Teachers Who:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or are working towards it

Have experience teaching within primary education, ideally Key Stage 2

Can deliver engaging and challenging lessons that inspire learners

Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills

Are committed to raising standards and supporting pupil achievement

Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues

Bring enthusiasm, professionalism and a genuine passion for teaching
