The Role

As a Year 1 Teacher, you'll play a key role in helping pupils transition from Reception into Key Stage 1. You'll support children as they develop confidence, independence and the core literacy and numeracy skills that will underpin their future learning.You'll create engaging and inclusive learning experiences, foster a positive classroom environment and help pupils develop a love of learning as they take the next steps in their educational journey.Opportunities are available on both a long-term and flexible supply basis.

We're Looking for Teachers Who:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or are working towards it

Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1

Can deliver creative and engaging lessons that inspire young learners

Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills

Are committed to supporting pupil progress and development

Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues

Bring enthusiasm, patience and a nurturing approach to the classroom
