Hays Education is working with a number of primary schools across Canterbury that are looking to recruit enthusiastic and committed Year 3 Teachers to join their teams.Whether you're an Early Career Teacher looking to expand your Key Stage 2 experience or an experienced practitioner seeking a new challenge, we have a variety of opportunities available across supportive and welcoming school communities.

The Role

As a Year 3 Teacher, you'll play an important role in helping pupils transition from Key Stage 1 into Key Stage 2. You'll support children as they develop greater independence, confidence and resilience while building upon the foundations established during their earlier years of learning.You'll deliver engaging lessons across the curriculum, create a positive and inclusive classroom environment and help pupils develop the skills needed to succeed throughout Key Stage 2.Opportunities are available on both a long-term and flexible supply basis.

We're Looking for Teachers Who:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or are working towards it

Have experience teaching within primary education, ideally Lower KS2

Can deliver creative and engaging lessons that inspire learners

Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills

Are committed to supporting pupil progress and achievement

Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues

Bring enthusiasm, adaptability and a passion for learning to the classroom
