The Role

As a Year 1 Teacher, you'll play a key role in supporting pupils as they make the important transition from Reception into Key Stage 1. You'll help children develop confidence, independence and a love of learning while building strong foundations in literacy, numeracy and communication.You'll deliver engaging and creative lessons, create a positive classroom environment and support every child in reaching their full potential both academically and personally.Opportunities are available on both a long-term and flexible supply basis.

We're Looking for Teachers Who:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or are working towards it

Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1

Can deliver engaging and creative lessons that inspire young learners

Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills

Are committed to supporting pupil progress and development

Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues

Bring enthusiasm, patience and a nurturing approach to the classroom
