The Role

As a Year 1 Teacher, you'll play an important role in supporting pupils as they make the transition from Reception into Key Stage 1. You'll help children build confidence, independence and a love of learning while developing the essential literacy, numeracy and communication skills that provide the foundation for future success.You'll create engaging and stimulating lessons, foster a positive classroom environment and support every child to achieve their full potential.Opportunities are available on both a long-term and flexible supply basis.

We're Looking for Teachers Who:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or are working towards it

Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1

Can deliver creative and engaging lessons that inspire young learners

Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills

Are committed to supporting pupil progress and development

Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues

Bring enthusiasm, patience and a nurturing approach to the classroom
